This doesn't really set a precedent. Biden isn't the first person to pardon someone that he had a personal relationship with. That person being his son doesn't really matter. It's all corruption, but Biden pardoning Hunter for some relatively minor bullshit is nowhere near as bad as Trump pardoning those Blackwater goons that massacred a bunch of innocent people in the Middle East.
