It's not a defense but more of people understanding they'd do the same thing. That and people are happy to see a Democrat finally blatantly do something the way Republicans been rolling

1. Congress has to approve it. This is why I said this election exposed a lack of Civics knowledge. And I don't mean that as a shot. Too many people think the president can just write a law or executive order and it's done.
2. He tried multiple times but those other elected officials some people claim not to matter kept voting against it

The Supreme Court ruled a president is immune from criminal prosecution as long as they are acting in their official duties.

I am sure there is a way to wipe out student loans with a stroke of a pen. There just have to be political will to do it.

People understand civics perfectly fine.

The problem that people have with Democrats is that they don't know how to wield power to pass an agenda.

The power of the President isn't in passing laws. It's the ability to shame, bully and exclude those that don't fulfill the party's agenda.

Trump has loyalists because they don't wanna face his wrath and the wrath of his constituents. Trump gives his followers wins and points out those that were against him.

He does it in a very clear and obvious way. It's not this weak ass, "The Republicans didn't let me. They are bad, did you vote?" bullshit.

Biden did what he could through executive order, at least he didn't punk out.

The role of the voter is to go vote and demand their representative and party do their will.

That's it.

All of the logistics is for the politicians to figure out to remain in power and reap the benefits of being in political office.

In the Democratic Party, they want the voter to vote, understand the logistics, and make arguments for them.

And you still don't get what you want. You want universal healthcare, they give you Obamacare and want you to figure out why you can't have universal healthcare when the majority of Americans want it.

The expectations on Democratic politicians are very little and yet they demand so much sympathy.

Problem is if people knew civics then they'd probably vote alot different than they did and do.

Trust & believe, if people understood civics, they would know exactly why they ended up with Obamacare instead of universal healthcare
