I said that this would be a hard case to win for the prosecutor. We already know convicting pigs is hard, and it would be real easy for the defense to spin the details.
The DA isn't even giving that as an excuse. He's just refusing to go after the cops. That's why there can be no question that there is coonery at work here. He basically had a reasonable way to let the cops off, but he doesn't want to go that route. He wants to go the route that will endear him to racists. That's disgusting.
