No, not all rick people or regular people need to do it, but that doesn't mean it's bad or wrong for some to do it.

I'll give you an example. I was never a street dude, but I've always known them. Whenever I went back home when I was younger, there was one dude in particular that I would holla at when I was in the city just to see what was up. The nigga would tell me shit like "Yo, you know that spot you used to go to all the time, don't go there now because niggas be targeting the letout" or "Hey, remember that kid you used to chill with when you came back around. Stay away from him now. He's a straight up goon." That is all Stephen Jackson is talking about when he says check in, but niggas in here are intent on making it like some Trick Trick shit.

People got this false idea like checkin in is paying protection to some local mobsters. It dont work like that.


That being said… still corny to check in with street niggas if you ain’t bout to be hanging on the block doin nigga shit. I could just check in with my folks/cousins/fam/whoever for that

You know who else does that...paid security who can legally defend you.
