There's also a difference between not posting your location somewhere vs just flat out being paranoid. Vast majority of people aren't moving like that to attract the attention of someone who would rob them simply by posting their breakfast on social media. Niggas ain't about to run up on you because you posted your pancakes at IHOP on Free Pancake Day. Even in that video that was posted dude said they're mainly targeting influencers and people who put up a front of showing off.
The same folks posting their kids first day of school pics in front of the school, post every outing they have, posting IG stories all day and will document every moment of their life for social media now all of a sudden nobody posts anything online.

I mean, when you are in entertainment, it is kind of hard to hide your location. Especially if you have to promote something. All they do is wait after your event and follow you. That's what the paparazzi do. You dont have to post your location for people to get the drop on you. All it takes is for someone to spot you and tell your location.
