I'm asking from a place of ignorance. I'm not trying to insult you or anything. I honestly do not know

As much as I can, yes. My only wish is that my grandmother and father were still here to help fill in the blanks.

While we were living in Phoenix, I did used to make the 3hr drive to the reservation at least twice a year with the family in tow so they got to see where my side of the family came from and learn a bit.

Pic is from our trip there back in '07. I had some decent pics from the trips over the years, but lost most of them.

Nope. And most tribes don't have gaming like that. Even those that do in most cases the money is enough to maintain tribal services and keep some of the tribal members employed but that's about it. Everybody ain't gettin' monthly profit sharing checks.

Word. I shouldve put "compensated". Whatever that "compensation" may be it seems to have pacified some to the point of embracing slurs

That not what pacified some in my eyes. Pacifying natives was a long and brutal process like any oppression process. Took them off they land made them go to school said they cant speak their languages cut their hair abused them and etc. let’s add the outright murder.

My homegirl is Native her folks from here and CT I don’t know the political part of it like how they do their membership and stuff but she goes to the reservation alot
