Top5 DOA... All 3 great albums imo, but I would choose 'The Giancana Story', I think it was the album that introduced us to Joell Ortiz too...

I bought his first two albums when they came out. They were good albums. They both had a few nice tracks, but there was better stuff out at the time.

His third album was produced by Sir Jinx of Death Certificate fame. I skipped that album and as far as I know, he doesn't have a 5 mic classic.

In the grand scheme of things G Rap is underrated IMO. Outside of heads from a few websites don’t anyone mention him as much as people might think. His shit from the late 80’s/early 90’s is legit.

No one rates him that high. And he gets his props as a lyricist. Don’t see how he’s overrated.

Ive seen him in top 5 lists a few times.
