Shit maybe that run in with Sami is actually leading to that i forgot what he was even complaining to Aldis about lmao but I could see them doing that

They'll prolly do some allies shit of course.. w/ him n Cody having to team up and then him either challenging for the strap or Cody just giving him a shot at some point

But long as hes finally elevated id be all for it then

Right now he has consolation momentum that really belongs to Kaiser. He doesn't have any of his own. He already lost a push that relegated him to the fake luchador gimmick. He wasn't even great at it; it caught fire when Kaiser took over and he maintained that momentum throughout. Gable came back and lost, but he didn't gain much from the return.

Gable needs to be repackaged the way Tony D was.

All of this is revisionist history.

Chad didnt "lose a push" that he never got in the first place. They side stepped the real story of him and Gunther that should have been the real WM 40 match.... to give Sami something to do at WM40.

Then It was Chad who started the gimmick and the argument can easily be made that Kaiser's version don't blow up the same without Chad coming back and them doing the Grande vs Grande storyline. Kaiser being better at Grande than Chad wasnt really Chad's fault but again yall dont seem to put blame on Hunter when its needed.

Lol at "he didnt gain much from the return" he came back on Smackdown to a massive reception from the audience. This is as over as Chad will be and Hunter will be a fool to drop the ball on him for the umpteenth time
 
At this point WWE needs more main eventers. More face main eventers at that. I can get giving Gable a US title run sooner than later but he really should be pushed to that status.

These guys dont believe in making new world title contenders.

The only reason Jey got that push is cause he was the 2nd most important character comin out of the biggest storyline in the company history. He was white hot with the crowd and YEET was at its apex.

Yeah it didnt work out in the long run but you gotta start somewhere when you're trying to create new main event players / world title contenders

His ceiling is way higher than US champ

I think he should be in world title contention and be in that conversation and competing in the main event. SD could use him bad right now honestly

i also dont think they'll ever gone belt him up either tho.. I just think he'll be in title contention and chase the strap. Not unless shit turns into a DB/Kofimania moment where people really get tired of him coming up short in the chase and they get forced to pivot

guys like Gable are always favorites to win the MITB and Rumble too so maybe they actually give ppl what they want this year and let him snag the case this year
 
other thing is if it did happen for Jey who really was just the other Uso a couple years ago it could happen for anybody at this point as long as they feel like they can make money off of you

We just watched Chad run a lucha gimmick where he got himself beloved by another country and more over at the end of its run.... you're claiming "he's no where near the entertainer of Angle"

Its a great thing you dont actually have any say in running a company.
