Referee Dallas Edwards, who was hurt during last night's OVW event, announced the following on his Facebook page:

"Hey guys! I know everyone seems to know about the scary incident last night at OVW.

I have been evaluated by a hospital and I have a concussion as well as subdural hematoma (brain bleed).

With that being said, I have made the decision to take some needed time away to get my life and health back in good spirits!

I appreciate all of the support everyone has been offering but as far as money goes, I am grateful to be in a position that I can manage an accident like this.

In lieu of donations, I instead implore all of my fellow workers to get some sort of training in assisting another's life.

Being in the position before, it's very important to be educated in all scenarios relating to injury, illness, or condition in the ring, especially when we're performing.

I am not mad at anyone or anything other than the situation as a whole, and that I've been sitting for about 24 hours straight in a hospital lol.

As far as updates go, I am getting a CT Scan in the morning and if that goes well, I'll be home!

Thank you to everyone who has reached out or stopped by it means more than any of you know.

Love, Dally"
That shit took way too long for real help to get there.

Dude was full on seizing in a fencing pose for about 3 minutes before EMTs activated.

I'll take this over them dumping this nigga in the Andre Battle Royale

they still could of came with something better for his debut though I swear they were teased him vs Priest right after he tossed him from the Rumble but then they scrapped that completely the next week and went with Priest and truth in a damn tag team

thats a match they could of done and used to turn Priest leading into it, let them have a match or even just a big ass brawl troughout the arena or some' that way they could of had a rematch at Backlash so he could have his first feud in the books

WWE's Roxanne Perez shared on her Instagram that she was back in the gym, the first sign she is heading towards her return to the ring.

Perez has been out of action after undergoing a surgical procedure to remove a benign cyst in her back that had been causing pain.

Perez last competed at the 2026 WWE Women's Royal Rumble.

OVW referee Dallas Edwards remains hospitalized in Louisville, Kentucky, despite expectations he would be released today according to WDRB TV, the FOX channel 41 affiliate.

The station covered the incident that saw Edwards end up in a seizure this past Thursday at OVW Rise after taking a bad bump in the ring with the match continuing for two minutes around him.

Edwards' mother was interviewed for the piece, commenting, "I'm not upset about the bump. Dallas knows how to fall, and he has trained as a wrestler. What I'm concerned about is the lack of preparation OVW had when a medical emergency like this happened. Nobody stopped the match. They are wrestling over top of my child as he seizes."

Tammy Edwards said the video was tough to watch and said, "How do you treat another human being like that?" Edwards said watching the video, she felt that no one cared about her son and also stated no one from the company contacted her to let her know he was being taken to the hospital. She stated she learned from a family friend who was sitting in the crowd.

Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg has an ownership stake in OVW, but his Press Secretary issued a statement to the station noting, "Mayor Greenberg is no longer involved in the operations of OVW. We are, of course, sorry to hear about this injury."

It should be noted that FOX 41's Gilbert Corsey is formerly an OVW announcer.
