WWE NXT content is slated to exit Peacock in 8 days, unless the two sides strike a new deal.

Peacock's deal for WWE NXT PPVs would expire this month.

When NXT expires, the only remaining live WWE event content on Peacock would be the Saturday Night's Main Event specials, which were announced in August 2025 as airing exclusively on Peacock as part of a "multi-year partnership agreement" between the two sides. There would also be a few select VOD titles, including the WWE Evil series.

There is no word yet where the NXT live events and the VOD archive of previous events will land domestically at this time.

Internationally, those rights are mostly held by Netflix.

Since WWE pulled the trigger on Cody Rhodes regaining the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre this past Friday on Smackdown in order to set up Cody vs. Randy Orton, PWInsiderElite.com has been asked what the original plan was for Rhodes and McIntyre at Wrestlemania.

In asking around, we learned that the pitch making the rounds was for Rhodes vs. Drew to face off inside Hell in A Cell at Wrestlemania. If they had gone that route, they could have played off their respective injuries in the Cell and that McIntyre won the belt in a steel cage match.

Instead, Cody will face Orton while McIntyre appears to be set for a bout against Jacob Fatu.

Injuries leading to WWE restructuring the card obviously factored into WWE's pivot.

I...would've preferred that than Cody vs Randy tbh.
