AEW is holding on to one of their champions, and he’s staying around for a long time.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed with AEW sources that AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher recently re-signed a long-term deal with the company. Tony Khan had communicated that he sees Fletcher as a big part of AEW’s future.
Fightful can confirm that the multi-year deal was quietly agreed to earlier this spring. It’s considered a big money deal, especially in relation to Fletcher’s age, and he figures to be a big player in the company moving forward.
Fletcher used a rep to negotiate the deal.
