He’s trying to paint everyone with the same brush and you can’t do that. Not with someone like Punk who’s return to WWE was gonna be a big deal regardless of if he was in AEW. You can make the argument for Cody & Starks for sure but I dunno about Dean & Sasha.

Cody is the only one who became bigger cause of AEW… and even then you could argue his star grew once he toured the indies and NJPW FIRST & THEN started AEW.

Starks didn’t live his full AEW career through. So he doesn’t count. But when it comes to Sasha and Punk, shits cap ESPECIALLY Punk. I get being the company guy but Swerve is buggin

I mean...AEW did something WWE couldn't fully do for YEARS. And that's get Punk back in the square circle. Let's not forget that, and that reaction he got.

You can't deny AEW's credit for that

You could say Punks AEW run made his reintroduction back into WWE a even bigger deal because of everything that went down in AEW with him leading to his release. Not only that they were having him out there having some of his best career matches to date by letting him do his true style. I do feel it helped make it an even bigger moment for sure rather then if he just came back after being out of wrestling which still would of been big but not LOADED up like this with a chip on his shoulder.

Moxley going to AEW and being there company guy and instantly in big main event angles, going crazy with the Mox character and getting the world title multiple times gives WWE a way bigger pick up and a bigger star if he ever comes back. Folks forget because of the Death Riders angle that Mox was on fucking FIRE every year before that in AEW.
