PWInsider was pushing that Alexa Bliss wasn't looking close to coming back only for her to return lol. They lost some credibility last night

They put on their site about a hour and some change before the start of the PLE that she was backstage

While PWInsiderElite.com is still working to confirm details, something went wrong with Drew McIntyre's elimination from the Men's Rumble.

When McIntyre returned to the back, he was "screaming and cursing” that “someone had to get their moves in” at the expense of a number of stories in the match.

We are told McIntyre pretty loudly stormed out of the building and was gone well before the Rumble match ended.

More as we confirm.

A top NXT star is going to the WWE main roster sooner than later.

23-year old phenom Roxanne Perez is on WWE’s radar for a call-up after accomplishing nearly everything possible during her nearly three years under WWE contract. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp was told in early January to expect a call-up for Perez sooner than later, with no specific date or time frame set. After her Royal Rumble performance, she was all but confirmed for it.

Perez is a two-time NXT Champion, former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, and emerged the winner in some major NXT matches. She is also a former ROH Women’s World Champion.

One WWE main roster source Fightful spoke to said that Roxanne has long been ready for the main roster from a performance perspective.

Also, although Shotzi has been in NXT, she's on a main roster deal and was expected to head back soon.

For those asking about Alexa Bliss, she was snuck into the building yesterday around 3 PM Eastern with she and WWE coming to terms very later over the last few days, possibly even the day before.

Bliss was in Florida and flew to Indianapolis the day of the show.

None of the women in the Rumble match were aware Bliss would be involved or even appearing until word began to spread that she was now part of the match. At first she was hidden from everyone.

I am not sure who she replaced but there were a number of other women connected to the company who were there all weekend including Ava (who likely would not have wrestled), Gigi Dolan and Shotzi.

There seems to be some misconception that WWE and Bliss were negotiating a new contract or that she was out of contract. Neither would be correct. As we have reported all along, Bliss has been under an existing five year deal that had been extended numerous times due to injury and/or her time off the last two years. When Bliss and WWE worked out the plan for her return - which was to be the Raw in San Jose, CA, Bliss' reps pushed for a new deal that WWE sources indicate would have included her getting a bus for the road and other perks. WWE management wanted Bliss to return under her existing deal, feeling that after two years of being off the road, she should honor her existing deal and they could work something out when time comes for a new deal to be negotiated. That was the issue and when they could not resolve it, she was told not to come to San Jose. It was not about signing Bliss - she was signed. It's not like she could have left and signed with AEW. She was under a contract and if they didn't come to terms, she couldn't have wrestled elsewhere.

There's no word yet when or how the ice between the two sides began to melt or whether Bliss even got what she was pushing for.

WWE had Bliss merchandise ready for the return online as it was already designed and ready to go for the night of the San Jose Raw.

As of last night, we were told Bliss would be on the Raw brand going forward.

WWE sources have confirmed the company has been in contact with Drew McIntyre since McIntyre stormed out of The Royal Rumble event after his elimination.

As PWInsiderElite.com broke last night, When McIntyre returned to the back, he was "screaming and cursing” that “someone had to get their moves in” at the expense of a number of stories in the match.

Obviously, something went amiss with McIntyre’s planned elimination, which was to spark a storyline between he and Damian Priest for Wrestlemania season when LA Knight backed up into Jey Uso, Priest and McIntyre as they headed towards the ropes for the spot.

The feeling among those we’ve spoken with is that McIntyre may have been upset that Knight’s errant movement killed the drama and momentum of the spot, taking something that was meant to be a big moment and rendering it into something that sort of happened, in a clunky manner, “losing” the moment that was meant to spark the Priest-McIntyre story.

One WWE source downplayed the situation, saying the company can always tweak things in post-production, but acknowledged McIntyre’s anger after.

I mean Drew knows Priest eliminated him. So it ain't gonna be that hard to re-ignite that. A simple claymore kick to Priest's face to disrupt his match...VIOLA! Feud back on.

I get it. Not a big deal but I get where Drew is coming from. On that professional tip. Every detail counts to get the right "feel" even the littlest detail.

And a Drew / Los Angeles Mania match is way more interesting than Drew / Priest. And seeing as how there might be real heat here this should be a no-brainer pivot
