MJF is using it to heel. Jericho was using it prove they were beating NXT when they were going up. Ratings don't matter much anymore but I promise you WWE still looks at the ratings. Also AEW did over a million views average June, July, and September. October was when they were getting moved around alot to Saturday. They been doing goof in the ratings so I see why.
Folks say ratings don't matter but honestly WWE is def focused on ratings so it ain't just Meltzer and Alvarez. That's just TV business on the business side until things truly become different to access entertainment. It don't matter as much as the 90s at all but it's still a factor across all tv.

No. They usually talk about the demographics. Also a company barely three years old SHOULD be losing to a 40 year old conglomerate with a built-in fanbase. The fact that AEW beats them in the demographics at all says more about WWE than anything else

Also I never understood why folks get mad when bringing up other promotions. I mean I get it if it's bashing the other side but that promo the other week bringing up WrestleMania and Wrestle Kingdom and name dropping. That got alot of praise because it's a show thay doesn't act like nobody exist and acknowledges wrestling big shows from across the board. They didn't even mention nothing bad about WWE. Stuff like that is really dope tho.

That's because we so used to being in the WWE bubble it's odd to see a company actually acknowledging the outside wrestling universe. How much sense would it make if Bobby Fish came in and acted like he don't know Adam Cole? Like bruh, I just watched y'all be in the same faction for like 3 years.
