The first group of WWE talents and staff began flying to Saudi Arabia for the Royal Rumble last night after Raw, PWInsider.com is told.

There are several groups flying over across the next few days so they can be available for promotional appearances ahead of Smackdown and The Rumble.

PWInsiderElite.com is told that The Wrestlemania sign is already on site at the venue in Riyadh in advance of being officially revealed this Saturday at The Royal Rumble.

The talk backstage at Raw last night was that the Rumble production will easily be the biggest production the company has ever done in Saudi Arabia and that the production plans were being described as on a Wrestlemania level.

There will be a WWE 2K26 promotional event Thursday in Riyadh, so expect lots of news about the game to start coming out shortly.

For those asking about photos on social media of giant props being transported to the venue in Riyadh, we are told those are not for Rumble entrances but for what was described to PWInsiderElite.com as a Fan Experience area outside the Stadium. One person believed that is where the Rumble Kickoff Friday will originate from, so you may see them utilized on screen there.

As we noted earlier, a charter flight for WWE talents and staff left Hamilton, Ontario after Raw last night. There are additional flights this week.

With the afternoon start time here on the East Coast, the local start time for the Rumble event itself in Riyadh is 10 PM.

The word backstage at Raw last night was that Marty Miller, who traditionally directs WWE's major events as well as Monday Night Raw would not be making the trip to Riyadh this week and would be missing The Royal Rumble. Miller has been with the company since June 1995.

PWInsiderElite.com is told that Miller will be remaining Stateside to direct Zuffa Boxing for TKO on Paramount+.

The expectation among those we've spoken with is that Smackdown Director Lee Lipschulz will be Directing the Rumble this Saturday. Lipschulz is also the usual Director for Countdown and Post-Show broadcasts.

While they have been off TV for some time, PWInsiderElite.com is told The Street Profits are slated to work upcoming NXT live events this weekend.

Do not expect Grayson Waller or The Street Profits at The Royal Rumble this weekend, PWInsiderElite.com can report.

All three are slated for this weekend's NXT live events in The United States.

For those who have asked about whether Rey Mysterio was hurt this past Monday, we are told that while he was banged up, he still traveled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as scheduled and is there for the Rumble festivities.

There was a lot of talk at last night's NXT TV taping that Sol Ruca could be in the Women's Rumble match this weekend.
