Another top NXT star could be heading to the WWE main roster.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that NXT World Champion Jacy Jayne has been discussed for a potential call-up to the WWE main roster. NXT higher ups believed she did a good job rising to the occasion during her 2025.

Fightful had been told years ago that Jacy Jayne had made a good impression upon her Smackdown debut. Ever since that August 2022 appearance, there has been semi-regular discussion for a call-up.

You really believe they can make her a star.. she doesn’t fit Tiffany/Chuck mold or the exotic mold of mold of Vaquer or Iyo…

Brother you didn’t even know she been racking up accolades and puttin numbers up on the board. She’s champion right now as we speak. Bow out this convo

While speaking to My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox, CM Punk said the following in regards to brands of entertainment such as WWE that receive criticism from fans…

“I see it in wrestling. I see it with fandoms, with things like Stranger Things and all that stuff. People just seem to want to be angry about everything because it didn’t happen the way they fantasy-booked it in their head. And to me, that’s a slight mental illness.

Like, you know— ‘Hey, I bought tickets to go to this wrestling show, and then I look on Twitter and wrestling journalist 3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 reports that there’s going to be a big surprise guest. I go to the show, there’s no big surprise guest, and I spend an unhealthy amount of time complaining about it online.’

And it’s just like, well, you weren’t promised a big surprise guest. Somebody who probably knows less about what they’re talking about than you do—and is just a fan like you—made some sh*t up on the internet, passed it off as journalism, and now you’re getting mad at that.”
