Only way I’m paying for that ESPN app is if Wrestlemania main event night 1 is 100 Men vs 1 Gorilla in the Las Vegas sphere🤣

I'm old enough to remember when every PPV was $49.99 on cable during the Attitude era. You also needed cable to watch RAW. So whatever you paid for cable, you also paid $50 for each PPV every month unless you just didn't watch.

The price seems crazy because of the times but, the model is the same as it always has been. Monthly PPVs are never free. The closets we ever got to that was when everything was on WWE Network but they're too big to limit their content to their own platform now.
 
I mean you do also get boxing events as well but fuck that. I ain’t paying for another streaming platform!

Paying more now with all the other streaming services and if you're still paying for cable that's a lot for TV then they want you to add another $30.
 
$30 for HBO/Disney/Hulu bundle

$20 for Netflix

$20 for Paramount

I get Amazon Video for free

$115 for Directv

That's a lot for tv watching
