Get ready for Asuka.

Asuka has been out of action since May with an injury that forced her to undergo surgery. Now, we have a bit of an update on the decorated WWE star.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has learned that creative plans have been discussed and pitched regarding Asuka. To be specific, we heard of a potential tag team match option that was pitched, before it ended up getting shot down.

As of now, we are not sure of Asuka's return from injury, and have not heard she's been at the WWE Performance Center training as of yet, but we will keep asking.

To be clear, no matter what twitter accounts speculate after this -- we've not reported she will be in the Royal Rumble. If that changes, we'll update things.
 
Dakota Kai has been pulled off the road, PWInsider.com can confirm.

While we have not 100% confirmed the issue, we are told that Kai was "hurt" during her tag team bout with IYO SKY against Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. One person we spoke with believe it may have been the rough bump she took on a missile dropkick.

Kai is not backstage at tonight's Raw.

There is no word yet whether this could potentially keep her from The Royal Rumble this weekend.

Yeah I'm surprised it took them that long to report that. Zoey missile kicked da fucc outta Kai. Lol!

WWE has officially landed a huge free agent signing that most expected would happen.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed with WWE sources that top free agent Jordynne Grace has signed with the company on a multi-year contract.

Fightful learned that WWE had made their interest known and made the offer a couple of weeks before Grace finished up, with TNA fully aware that Grace would be leaving the company.

Those we spoke to in WWE said that Grace was signed almost immediately after her last match in TNA, and that they didn't want to let her get to free agency.​
 
Dakota Kai has been diagnosed with a concussion, numerous WWE sources have confirmed.

She will be out of the ring until she passes the company concussion protocols.
