I was actually listening to Busted Open earlier, and Tommy Dreamer explained it.

Said something to the fact that it was base pay/free money. How WWE wasn't gonna pay him full salary, knowing that was his last day. Dreamer and Bubba broke it down further, but that was the gist.

WWE currently have 56 wrestlers employed on their main two shows who haven't wrestled a TV match in the last two weeks

The 24/7 championship scramble has been counted as a match, as have any of the title changes. Wrestlers chasing the champion backstage have not been included

Only 7 of the 56 wrestlers are injured

07.04.19 was the date of Wrestlemania 35. 19 people on the list last appeared then, mostly in the battle royals

I'm not implying anything, just thought it was interesting that so many people aren't being used right now

The relationship between Sasha Banks and WWE looks like it could be on the upswing. According to a report in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sasha and Vince McMahon had a meeting on May 23rd. It was noted that “things are said to be better” between Banks and the company, and while nothing is official, she could return to TV sometime this summer.

The May 23rd date is worth noting as PWInsider.com had reported Banks was in New York that day doing work for a WWE-related project, possibly the next 2K video game. Sasha has been gone from WWE TV since losing the Women’s Tag Team Titles to The IIconics at WrestleMania 35. Her status has been a hot topic since then, with reports of her causing a scene before and after the show and wanting to quit the company—although that has been disputed and dismissed by Banks’ husband (and WWE costumer) Sarath Ton and The IIconics themselves.


Sasha has largely remained quiet in her absence, save for a few tweets mocking reports of her ‘quitting the company’ and a few cryptic tweets about her future.

But they sure as hell make sure that Shane keep getting time even though nobody asks for him
 
Them keep going over there just says they don't care about their employees

For one, all along we were told the only men off the show were Bryan and Cena, who decided against going, and Zayn, who the Saudi Arabian government told WWE they didn’t want him on the show due to his ethnicity.

By the way, you can say whatever you want about empowering women and being against racism but at the end of the day, real stands involve putting your money where your mouth is. Prejudice against ethnicity is just like skin color or any other banning of someone without any actions they have done.
It can’t be justified and that’s the end.
