Lol at Triple H allowed the personal use of company jet 10 days a year.

i actually admire triple h

dude decided he wasn’t going to be the average mark or wrestler, played his cards right, and politicked his way into areas he didn’t necessarily belong (creative meetings as a talent, a few main event pictures, the boss’s daughter…) all with his sights set on the big picture

mfer said “fuck shane, i’m gonna run wwe” and wasn’t gonna be denied

he even created his own glorified indie show that put the main roster to shame, and made fans who couldn’t stand him jump back on his dick in hopes that he would run the company or creative one day

and that’s exactly what happened

this shit was by design. by hook or crook (definitely crook), he accomplished what he set out to do and is now booking wrestle-fucking-mania

triple h is the mark that made it lol

I always felt that once triple h tore his quad the first time and completely missed the invasion angle, he had his mind set to take over WWE in some way and look what happened

WWE has a concentrated effort for their PLE events.

WWE has been going to Stadiums and international territories, in addition to places like Puerto Rico that they haven't been in 18 years. Fightful Select spoke with WWE sources who confirmed that the effort was made to maximize the buzz around said shows.

WWE has been putting extra care into the selection of PLE locations, and drastically changed its approach from 2022. They want each event to have a distinct purpose, whether that be thematic, financial, or strategic. For example, thematic would be Sami Zayn in Montreal for Elimination Chamber, or Bad Bunny hosing Backlash in Puerto Rico. Financial would be stadiums vs. arenas. Strategic would be London's event happening in prime time ahead of their rights renewals in the area, and also WrestleMania in Los Angeles around the time they're planning a sale of the company, and ahead of the TV rights renewals.

"It's about spacing out PLEs so the demand builds in market," said the higher up, noting on press releases they'll often point out it's their first time heading to a market for a PLE in quite some time, when applicable.

  • On his podcast, Ric Flair spoke about the passing of Arn Anderson’s son Barrett. Flair also said that he’s reconnected with Arn:
    • It’s a very personal thing with Arn. I know what he’s going through. Kevin Nash knows what he’s going through. Any number of people out there. I’m just being selective with the wrestling community. All the bullsh*t that we go through, there are some things in wrestling that are real and hurtful and just never seem to work out right.
    • It’s a very tough thing to say but, I think Arn and I have reconnected. We’ve kind of gone our separate ways. It all started back with Jim Herd. He left. I came back. They left. I mean, to have that phenomenal time in the 80s and see it kind of slip away for whatever reason, quite honestly because of promoters, and then to reconnect and have a private moment and exchange texts and everything, it made me cry. I was that happy to hear back from him. Not much more I can say about that. I just hope he and I can move forward and do some stuff together.
