Official 2019-2020 NBA Thread

I have no idea whats going to happen with those bottom 3 seeds in the West

OKC playing well and killing teams with the three guard lineup of Cliff, SGA Schroeder.....they might fuck around and inadvertently make the playoffs by default

Phoenix has came back down to earth after the hot start but Ayton coming back and they desperately want to make the playoffs.....could be a team that pulls a trigger on a big trade

Spurs suck but they're only 2 games out of 8th and could decide to make a trade to either get better or have a fire sale

As much as Ive enjoyed the Jazz struggles Id have to think they're going to better after the new year

Kings have stayed afloat despite having injuries to their two best players, dont see why they wouldnt feel good about their playoff chances still

Portland obviously wants to make the playoffs and might have a move to make

Timberwolves are one of the harder teams to get a read on, Im sure they want to make the playoffs but if they have the opportunity to potentially position themselves better in the future even though it might hurt them in the present I could see them doing that too

Unless OKC decides to have a fire sale or has a massive injury they're getting into the playoffs

That leaves one spot for

San Antonio
Portland
Phoenix
Minnesota
Sacramento
Memphis

The 8th place team (San Antonio) and 13th place team(Memphis) are separated by 2 games

I was looking at the standings this morning, funny how if Memphis gets hot for a bit they would be the 9th seed easy
