I'm with the Lakers & Clippers on this one........
Sitting out a game or two really doesn't make much of a stand. It sucks for the players and teams that want to finish and they shouldn't be ostracized if they do want to play but in my opinion it's important to have a United front.
All of the players also need to understand and be ready for the blow back they will receive publicly and most importantly how this is going to be used against them in future CBA negotiations....... The world is watching and unfair as it may seem the way these young men move from here is very important as it seems alot of other athletes are following their lead.
In the grand scheme of things I know the way I feel about this means nothing to them but I'm proud of how they've moved so far

I respect the shit out of what the players are doing. The folks who can make the biggest impact are the owners though.
Yes the owners will lose money with the boycott. Folks have to remember though these team owners in all these sports leagues made their billions through business not with sports. The money they made through business is what allowed them to buy these teams. So what is more important to the owners politically. Pushing states and fed level folks to make change for social issues or to keep pushing them to make shit easy for them to continue doing business that allowed them to make those billions of dollars in the first place before they even thought about being able to buy a pro sports team.

Nah I read one of lebron's talking points was putting it on the owners to reach out to the same people they ask to build stadiums worth 100s of millions and such. I don't know if I saw it on here or another site.
But it seems the plan is to put onus on the owners and give them a deadline to make shit happen or the players abandon ship.

I respect what the players are doing but they have to have a concrete set of attainable demands before walking away for the season.
Because, this is America. And this being America, theres going to be another black person shot by cops in the next two weeks. The cycle aint stopping for a while.

It would look really bad if there’s no games today and with no plans in place where there’s guaranteed change they resume games tomorrow. Like freeman said, it’s all or nothing

I think this is just a taste from the players to the owners. Because if this was a game at the teams arenas and games would be missed the Financial impact would be greater.
I think just letting them know it can get worse before we start working again. So the players letting the team CEOs they need to throw that big money to invoke changes

All the players abandoning ship is where the line in the sand will be drawn cause majority of players don't got LeBron money. I also heard this morning the owners could lock out next season.
So these billionaire owners are already good without the nba. Most of the nba players NEED the nba.
