I don't think it would have broke out into months of worldwide protests. The fact there was so many people already just at home frustrated because of the pandemic intensified things on a global scale. I don't think we see the activity we've seen without the pandemic. We can agree to disagree tho. It's not important.

No disrespect but I agree with @King Freeman and been saying this from the beginning. There was no major distractions when George Floyd was murdered so it constantly getting played throughout all the major media outlets multiple times made people who usually ignore these type of things or say they are too "busy" see what every black person already knew. There was no excuses they could use to ignore what happened to George Floyd. Alot of so called allies and protesters have been shamed into their current role. They honestly could care less but they would never say so publicly for fear of losing support

I also state multiple times that a ton of the people protesting and looting were doing so not because they gave a fuck about black people but because COVID19 had them stuck in their homes. Alot of people who looted and destroyed property did so because they were either hurting financially due to stuff being closed or mad at the government for shutting things down. Most of those non black people took advantage of the situation to incite riot's for their own agenda.
