It wasn't just some "homemade" joint. He went by "Big Floyd" from Houston (for his "porn name") and this was at a time when everyone though he was from Minneapolis and didn't know his history. He was even promoting a local hiphop clothing line at the start of one of the videos.

The video I saw had an interviewer, a camera man, and what looked like a professional "actress". Not the most high budget thing I've ever seen but not a guy filming himself and his lady with a cellphone either.

Again, not making a judgement about what he did but still crazy. I didn't believe it was him at first until the Houston connection made the mainstream media...
