Focus on your phone or computer or whatevers in front of you, don't look up at them or acknowledge anything their saying, and when they finally ask you to respond to something direct. Look up and say "what? I wasn't listening."

If that doesn't kill it you might just have to g check em and tell em you just don't want to hear it.
