My daughter just got her first business lesson. She makes YouTube videos with a program name Gacha Life. Its animated videos made through stop motion video.
Anyway, she kept trying to upload her videos and kept getting a message that she doesnt have anymore space. She was getting mad because the iPad said she had plenty of space left.
I check and see that shes out of space on YouTube, not the iPad. I explain to her that YouTube wants her to buy more space. She tells me that YouTube is free. I told her that that is how youtube makes its money.
It gives you enough to get hooked, then ask to to pay to keep going. I explain to her it's the same as her roblox game, it's free but tempts you to buy things like clothes for your character. Shes getting real mad, tells me that you dont have to buy anything on Roblox if you dont want to.
I said baby you dont have to pay YouTube if you dont want to. Lol..she goes..YOU SAID I HAVE TO PAY FOR MORE SPACE ON YOUTUBE AND NOW YOU SAY I DONT HAVE TO PAY YOUTUBE ANYTHING, YOU'RE NOT MAKING ANY SENSE.
Lol, so Im trying to explain the difference in not having to do something isn't the same as not having to do something. That one is needing to make a personal choice and the other is no need to make a personal choice.
Lol, she got mad and left the room.
