It didnt help that he became co owner of All Def which is basically a comedy Youtube channel. So being around all those comedians may have had him think it was something to try

Late 2019. They had a Zoom Conference celebrating the "reboot" ( for lack of a better term) in the early days if the pandemic. T.I. recently popped up on one of the Roast Me episodes as well. So it seems like he's using this as a springboard into comedy.
