I don't usually get into topics like this but this has kinda been bugging me for a while. As someone who is more of a spectator on this site these are just my views from the Loft(or is it Wafts from the Loft?hmm), but more importantly as someone who has worked/partied with multiple members of the LGBTQIA+ community(even one who is currently gathering donations for the reassignment surgery as I type) I feel I gotta say something.
This place is not LGBTQIA+ community friendly AT ALL!
If I was a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and I liked hip-hop/rap music and wanted to talk with likeminded individuals I would not come here to do it. Like...AT ALL!
Between the "onions" phrasing, the constant use of the "F" word that rhymes with maggot(I've begun cringing when I read it now), and being told that I have a mental illness...I would not want to post here with y'all. Plus the general overall feel of not caring about that community or its problems that permeates these threads is really off putting.
Look, I get it. We all babies of the 80's, 90's and even further back where it was mostly no rules to what you said, and maybe people are getting soft these days and taking things too seriously and personal. But there is just an overall lack of empathy towards that community here.

Also if I may add, that may also be a reason there aren't many women on here as well. I know you can blame most of it on IG and twitter, but if you look at some other forums where women frequent like reality tv show forums what will you notice? A large number of lgbtqia members there. Now maybe it's just the stigma of a hip-hop forum, but that's something to be noticed imo.

I’m not just talking about this thread.
Make the inclusive section for them. It’s whatever and can (maybe or maybe not) be beneficial for the traffic for the site.
But you said you gon make it VIP which is weird to me. Only thing that’s different between a straight and gay person is what you like sexually. Rest of topics can be made for the entire ABW community.
If a gay person wanna talk about a TikTok challenge shouldnt they post it where y’all can see so we can get a thread jumping. Making it VIP makes it harder for future LBGT members to see and wanna join the site right?
Just my opinion for the betterment of the site for everybody and the potential to grow.
