I don't know if it was racial. I think the eli and Peyton manning coaching connection played more of a role than race. They passed up on 3 white QBs last year that were reportedly better than this kid. I think Haskins only playing one year played more of a role for him not being picked higher by a couple QB needy teams. I wanted Josh Allen the edge rusher. If they were gonna go QB I would have preferred Haskins. I did not like the pick.

Yes. But again, the connection to the coach and his personal desire to draft him played a major role in him being picked. People had him going #1 largely off a clip of the coach saying he would draft him number 1 if he could. I'm not saying racism don't exist in the NFL or major sports. Trust me is visible and obvious. I just think these two situations were more connections and people than race. Just my opinion fam.
