NFL Draft Discussion: April 25-27 (Mock Drafts now included)

They didn't have to show that shit.

They couldn't wait to talk about that for the simple fact they stopped in the middle of the draft to talk about that.
It's the PC culture. From a sponsors and media standpoint they were forced to discuss it due to appeasing all parties and to be politically correct. If they didn't show nor discuss it they would have been ridiculed for being insensitive and displaying toxic masculinity for not discussing seemingly disturbing actions on a predominant male network.

Sucks but they handled the whole situation correctly. Didn't shame him and tried discussing his growth, but at the same time discuss that viewers (PC hard heads) are entitled to their opinions.

Gettleman has gone into this offseason thinking “how can i fuck up completely?”

im already prepared for the bullshit

i thought i was ready. i wasn’t
i’m convinced Gettleman is a double agent. where this nigga from? don’t let me find out he’s from Philly, Dallas, or DC

even if lawrence and our third round pick (damn near fourth round) turns out to be solid, they weren't worth giving up one of the best wideouts in the league

a wideout that your newly drafted QB could’ve used

a QB not named Dwayne Haskins, who you let drop to a division rival

but a QB that reminds you of the motherfucker you intend on parting ways with, who was never that good in the first place

not to mention letting Collins walk for nothing, who also went to a division rival. look at what they paid him. Collins was valuable. imagine what you could’ve got had you traded him last season

hopefully Haskins commits to that jamarcus russell workout plan

The only thing I can think of is that they knew they were going QB in the 1st rd months ago and the OBJ trade was to get a non QB 1st rd pick, since they had committed to using one on a QB. At the end of the day, we gotta wait n see. Who knows how this kid turns out.
