New Orleans

I know a chick who let her mom house go because she didn’t want to pay the taxes. Since she was in charge of her bread...she got cars and did dumb shit. When I talked to her about it, she said she just didn’t it.

I think someone got it for like $3k.
Her mom got it for like $13k in the early 50s.

shit pissed me off.

Ima say.

NOLA mentally is violent as fuck. We gotta do better in that category and uplift each other. Because that mind set we have “Get it How ya Live” is a blessing too and if we can just apply it better we would be good there

We got a ton of young folks there that’s doing their own thing and not needing folks so the grind and hustle is there in my lil city.

#GetItHowYaLive
#GetchaSome

I guess niggas with guns and tattoos are the solution.

They can be especially depending on the problem. In some cases that is the only solution some folks just have a hard time knowing and believing in that solution.

U watch interviews w them old gangsters and dudes that were getting money in the 70s and 80s when they are asked their biggest regret the answer is always we should have bought our hood when we were getting money

I once had to help an asshole sell what should have been a million dollar house in Bronzeville ( historically black neighborhood) to some cacs for 150k

shed a tear preparing the paperwork

Do you listen to or know about the radio series show Bronzeville made by Larenz Tate and his brother about that neighborhood?

It's a show done on the radio but it's like a dramatic tv show. I listened to a few episodes and it was good just forgot about it.
