The problem with your argument is that when the NBA was at its height it was mostly black. In the 90’s you might have had Stockton, Mullin, etc., but there wasn’t a dominant white dude like that.

So to say it should be more white, especially without the context you added later, comes off crazy.

That doesn't commit me to thinking that there should be more white players, if that's what you're gonna say.

You can want an outcome, recognize that if X happens that outcome will come about, without wanting X to happen, or thinking that it should happen.

I made a prediction about what, as a matter of fact, will happen, and nothing I said implies anything about what I think "should" happen.

What he's missing is the nba doesn't want it's stars to exude blackness. They fear that shit cause they can't understand it so they've spent years curbing it as much as they can. But it's led to a softened product.

Nothing in this suggested your intent was to suggest the upcoming white players are what will make the NBA be fine. You said the NBA will be fine then alluded to the fact that more white players would achieve that.

Maybe you were thinking of something already happening, but it doesn’t read that way. And in none of your other replies did you mention this.

Sounds a bit like spin to save face.

The league doesn't need more white specialists to make more white people watch the game

For every joker or Luka, there are 5-7 Kyle korvers.

NBA needs more access in local markets. Hell I'm all the way in Louisiana and used to see the bulls play on wgn when MJ was in his prime. Everything else is behind a paywall.

The NBA needs to be more accessible, not more white players

Well, that is what I was thinking. It's something already happening, in terms of the white American players coming into the league. That's why I said that I think that the NBA is going to be fine.
