Yea I know. I guess I should have specified when that cap room would free up. So in 2 years Lowry/Valancunis/Miles/Ibaka all come off the books. It will end up being a hard reset.

but even with all that money, players will actually have to WANT to go to Toronto to play. I dont know a whole lot about them, but for the most part, it seems they were fine with drafting and cultivating talent, while spending either market value or below market value for veterans. Who do ya'll think realistically will go even if Toronto offers them the money?

You never know how the market is going to shake out. If they had that cap room this summer they could have potentially walked away with some really good prospects. Also if they are just sitting on that cap space it allows them the flexibility to make a trade where they take back a bad contract while retaining a nice assets sort of like the Nets did with D Lo and Mosgov.
