Not really.

Back in my day you had to actually go to the store on the first day (which was usually a Tuesday).

Now all you have to do is have a phone and you can listen to it on day 1.

It's not the same.

I miss the days of anticipating an album, going to the store to buy it, listening to it with your friends, discussing the album in a cipher.

And then hearing/reading about how much it sold in the first week.


That's not anything like streaming the album for free on day 1.

Taking me back wit this. I miss those days. You get to sit there in the store and listen to either the sample tracks, or the whole album b4 buying.

New music drop...you made time to make it to the store tne day it comes out. Depending on the artist...shyt will sell out.
