I've been playing this album the past 4 hours on repeat

Overall I wasn't let down. It's not perfect, Git ready, NYSOM 3 were ehh production wise, everything else was great to superb

The track with AZ was phenomenal

Young King is a great dedication to Knight

Bouquet is a great shout to all female MCs

Nasty Esco Nasir is the dope creative track I was looking for in the vein of I gave u power, Junkie is similar

It's Time should be a radio single because of that sample

I like it! No, it's not a classic but it's what the game needed right now.

This shit ain't been as bad as what y'all saying.

Is it 15 straight Nas is Likes? Nah, not at all.

Some weak tracks in there. Some good ones.

I don't think there is a single bad Nas verse in there. Most are good to great.

I can't stop being amazed that he can still find things to talk about and still have bars like he does. Its incredible.

Preme is definitely the weak link in the album. Not all beats are bad. Some are good. But there's nothing incredible on the album.

Either way I think folks who are disappointed expected some Preme and Nas in the 90s level tracks. I don't blame them.

Overall, good album, not great.

Lyrics and bars are elite.

Beats are mid tier, with a few good and a few bad.

Was it worth 30 year wait? Not at all. Should have kept this as a forever what if
 
Nas is still probably the best rapper rapping in 2025 which is amazing. Even if he's not, he's top 5. I'm talking strictly bars.

Writers fall off cause theres only so much they can write about. To be still writing a bunch of 16 bar verses after you probably wrote over a thousand of them and still have them be great to elite quality is something that will never be done again.

Like I said.....I don’t think Nas was even in the studio when these abominable beats were laid over his vocals. Nothing about this album feels and sounds organic or authentic.
Pure disconnect. Just like the album’s release. Not even worthy of a proper rollout. It’ll be an afterthought and a cautionary tale after the glazing and dick riding runs its course.

Still..... NaS still signed off on the album's release so he isn't excluded from blame

The next stage of Emceeing, especially at nas age is Spiritually. I wanted nas to rap on some KiLLah Priest shit like he rhymed on that dave east Godfather 4 saying

Or some shit like that.

And I swear yo, nas can do better than Jay Electronica but can't do it better that KiLLah

I was up late last night listening to it, so I'll give it a spin w/ fresh ears today. Nas is my favorite MC so maybe it'll grow on me with subsequent listens, but I won't hold my breath. Hell...I still never finished his last album
