Man, fuck this album. How is two of Nas’ worst albums produced by Kanye West and DJ Premier. What kind of bizarro world shit is that.

These beats are fucking horrible. NYSOM3 and 3rd Childhood are a disgrace to the original titles. It’s been too many dope releases this year with dope production to give this shit a pass. It’s inexcusable. Yes, Nas killed this. It’s not enough. How is Game’s throwaway mixtape’s production killing this. Arrghhhh!!!!!

Wale got the album of the year. Fuck this shit.

I didn't even know Game had a mixtape dropped but I'm not checking for that shit b/c dude is a whole clown.

That Kanye produced album from 2018 was complete trash. Premo damn near looking like Swizz Beats status with the production on this one.
 
Tough crowd :mybad: First run completed and Nas is the mc of 2025 off this and the Legend series guest verses. Premo felt like he took a step back on the boards to let Nas talk his shit. I will say I did enjoy the 2nd half more than the first but I feel the latter will grow on me with time.

This album is so disconnected I’m convinced Nas wasn’t in the studio—he probably just emailed a thumbs-up while Preemo cooked up these “fresh from the flea market” clearance-rack amateur sounding beats.
 
It all just feels… off. Niggas been anticipating this shit for what… three decades? It feels like it was pieced together with some throwaways.

Coming off the Hit-Boy albums this is very disappointing. Nas spit that was always going to be a given and even still I wouldn’t say he did anything spectacular.

I didn’t expect to have banger after banger but sheesh. Maybe 5 songs I truly fuck with off this and it maybe generous.

Where’s Pete Rock at lol.
