I’m so sorry about your friend. It’s tough seeing people your age or younger pass. You start to dwell on your own mortality. At least I have. And I just went to go see my niece she’s doing ok but she’s going to have to stay in the hospital like 2 more weeks at least while she recovers and they teach her how to use the device they implanted in her.

Yeah it does make you realize your own mortality. 40 used to seem so far away and now hearing somebody in their 40s pass away is like "damn they wasn't old at all." Definitely wishing the best for your niece

I appreciate you. I went to go see her yesterday and she’s doing ok in pain but she’s ok. They pulled out a couple of tubes and she was able to walk to the elevators and back
 
Got my first full paycheck today.

Lil less than I had calculated, but whatever it's still a lot of money. Paid a grip of bills before I left the crib and for the first time in a long ass time my mortgage and associated shit are being paid early, even broke off the credit cards with some loot.

So... I had to take a peek at my check stub to see why it was so much less than I had anticipated:

Thanks y'all. This year been on some bullshit, a bruh was really in a fucked up, dark ass place where shit just seemed like there wasn't going to be an end to the fuckery. But it's definitely taken a turn for the better and I'm hoping I can get back to being "me" again.

Yeah I been sitting on this gift certificate to carabbas for like 6 months I got for Christmas imma use tomorrow and go out
