Yup.

Got my resume out all over the place but I've only had one interview and they turned me down 'cause I haven't worked outside the house in 12 years. Had every single qualification they were looking for tho. Part of me just thinks it was racial and that's the excuse they wanted to run with.

I can relate. The job market is something i have never seen before. Doesn't help that being in the DMV government funding is basically shut off right now which make IT jobs borderline impossible and without a security clearance also don't help.

There's sooooooooooooo many remote IT jobs out there that I can't get in on 'cause I don't have a clearance nd you can't get a clearance unless you have a job that needs it. Shits fuckin' ridiculous.

It's alot of of bottleneck that's screwing alot of people. Basically you have to take a lower paying job to get in the entry way. Probably the best thing to do is a entry level job that will offer security clearance. I had an opportunity but they told me I was too advanced for the role and they fear I would get bored and jump somewhere else after I got thr clearance. I was like wtf lol

I have 28 years in IT. NOBODY is gonna give me an entry level gig for any reason.

I'll be dropping a short project next week i feel is relatable to alot of people right now with the current times feeling a bit nihilistic. Also something to just meditate or smoke too. He's got a class where brothers with no IT experience are getting set up with $150,000/yr jobs in cloud engineering.



With all of your experience, you're probably not gonna learn anything..........so you'll probably be able to breeze right through it.

Just might be something good to go through just so you can make the connection to that job pipeline.

That shit mystifies me. I've got actual recent work experience with Azure and Amazon AWS plus a heavy on-site virtualization background (22 years), and shit just ain't poppin'.

This shit keeps up and my big ass might wind up with ICE, huffin' and puffin' trying to chase a muhfucka on a meme video and shit.
 
Unemployment is so ass bruh. Had an interview and shit was perfect and could have got the job but they didn't realize I was in Maryland and only operate in VA and DC so I was basically disqualified on video. Why even reach out to me ? Lol wtf.
