You need to be more specific. Not all women in Africa tend to have steatopygic structures. That is more common in Southern Africa and parts of Eastern Africa. And American blacks don't really have lineage to those areas. Most American and Caribbean blacks descend from West and Central Africa and steatopygia is not as typical there.
