Also the idea that a dude who was power hungry and killed mfers for a thousand years giving it all up cause he met a chick kind of fucked up the story.
MCU just always wanna redeem mfers. The whole time im like man it better turn out he had his wife killed cause he wanted into the village and hes a piece of shit.
But nope. Dude really fell in love and put all his one thousand year plans away and decided he was gonna get old with her.
Then he did all this shit to try to bring her back.
Thats my one criticism about this shit. The evil mfer wasnt evil enough

You give the character more depth this way. Look at killmonger and Vulture as villains. Weren’t true evil bad guys and they were both appreciated as villains because they had depth to them and motivations besides cliche I wanna take over the world
he loved his wife, most ppl will do whatever to get their loved one back

he wasn’t even really a piece of shit. I mean he was as he was a conqueror turned head of a shadow Terrorist organization but him being the way he was written makes it so it makes sense he gives his son the rings for example
