Welcome To aBlackWeb

The responses in this thread are weird as hell because the critics love this, most people on twitter love this.

You’d think it was some universally panned shit reading in here.

I personally love it.

A lot of people in here are nerds who use the comics as reference for everything or pine for Netflix marvel shows so you’re gonna get disappointment from them

Some just are a bit bored with it

I’ll maintain this a good show with a great performance from Oscar Isaac (probably the best performance of any MCU show so far)

I'm curious how the shows will be viewed in hindsight. I mean a big part of the expectations comes from the episodes being week by week and there being all sorts of speculation on things from each episode. it'd be interesting to know what someone thinks of the shows with all that anticipation and speculation removed.

What makes it one of the worst
It's boring. The cgi isn't great, the fight choreography is bland. The villain wants to *checks notes* kill people. Cooool.

They knocked it out the park with the last episode, though. I wouldn't mind seeing more episodes like that, with that level of intensity. It's not practical, though, I know. They had to introduce certain people first, explain certain elements. Only had 6 episodes to work with, etc. It's a shame it's a limited series, just as it started to get good it ends.

I can respect that. Thank you for expounding

Loki was initially announced as a limited series and was then given a Season 2. Same can happen with Moon Knight (if Feige greenlights it and they get Oscar Isaac a new bag)

I think Marvel just messed up with the marketing. All of the teasers and trailers were showing Moonknight being badass with glimpses of Marc’s multiple personality disorder. Had they focused more on Marc and Stephen in the marketing materials people may not be so disappointed.

Nah, folks hopes was up long before a single marketing plan or trailer dropped. Most hoped they was getting Netflix Punisher as far as violence goes.

Only people that follow this stuff that closely. Casual viewer thought they were getting a Marvel origin story movie in TV form. Nobody got what they were expecting.

Y’all gotta stop saying “most people” this and “casual viewer” that.

Most people, casual viewers, critics and the YouTube reviewers have all been raving about the show.

Audience score is 93% on rotten tomatoes. Highest of the Disney+ shows and will only go higher if they land the finale.

YOU guys are the outliers.
