Moon Knight: Nick Kroll, Daveed Diggs Were Reportedly Considered for the Marvel Role
Marvel Studios hasn't landed on a lead actor for their upcoming Moon Knight series, but they reportedly considered two very different stars.
Murphy's Multiverse recently heard that Marvel was considering both Daveed Diggs and Nick Kroll for the part of Marc Spector/Moon Knight. According to the site, talks with the actors never began, but the studio was allegedly interested in the actors. As of now, Oscar Isaac is in negotiations for the Moon Knight role.
Diggs began his career as a musician with the group clipping. before rising to fame in Hamilton. Since then, he's branched out more as an actor, with his role on the Snowpiercer series potentially preparing him to take on an action-heavy role. Kroll, however, is a far more interesting choice, given the majority of his career has been in comedy, most recently creating and starring in Big Mouth. Given Marvel's M.O. and Umbrella Academy showrunner Jeremy Slater's involvement, Moon Knight could be aiming for a darkly comedic tone. Both actors are Jewish, like Spector in the comics, unlike Isaac.
Marvel hasn't made any comments yet on the casting for Moon Knight, and other actors have been rumored to be in the hunt for the lead role. The series is one of the few upcoming Disney+ Marvel shows that has yet to settle on a lead, however, so an official announcement could be coming soon.

Honestly, i could see either Kroll or Diggs pulling it off in their own way. Would have been cool to see.
