Yeah the game has a really dope story to it. Unfortunately all of the story is told in walls of text and there isnt really any cut scenes to watch. Hopefully they release a legit comic for it one day. It's a dope game, but can get old fast. I take frequent breaks lol

That's not surprising. I saw some vids of players showing how Gambit should be played. It definitely looked like something that could get boring fast.

You weren't lying. I looked into the story. I wouldn't mind if they made an animated series out of it. The version of Gambit in it basically has his New Son power. That means he's really powerful in the Rivals storyline.
 
I reinstalled this game to find that it's now 100BG. The fuck?

Anyway, I sat out the last two seasons and came back to see what changed. The 18v18 game mode is pretty fun, but I haven't tried the Zombies mode yet.

In the past I was a Thor, Strange, Invisible Woman main but I'm really looking to try to learn Magneto to mix it up.


They still haven't got rid of those dumb ass bot matches in QP. NetEase keeps denying it but it's very obvious when you get matched against bots and it's annoying asf. I'd rather lose to humans back to back than get a fake bot match just to get an easy win for my ego.

I haven't heard anything about a fake bot match being done. But it makes sense because I was in QP the other day and some guy was pitching on voice chat at someone to swap characters and they never did and he started saying "yeah, obvious bot." And ended up rage quitting lol.

I'll play competitive and im only in gold and some of the matches are so intense and everyone is in sync win or lose, but then ill get in matches where my team or the other is absolutely destroyed. Like everybody on the team is 0-10 or worse. Shits frustrating.
 
I've been trying to practice daredevil as of late, but still pretty tough although im getting better with him. I just suck at that style of dropping in, doing damage, then getting out. I get stuck and demolished or ill dive in thinking my team is with me or behind me and they ain't doing shit.

For comp my mains have been Groot, Magneto, namor, squirrel girl, thing, venom, cloak and dagger, invisible woman and mantis. Nobody picks tanks and its super frustrating. I always end up playing a tank out of necessity.

Yeah it's definitely a thing only in Quicklplay. Their usernames and movement gives it away, and they're usually easy to stomp or trap in spawn. It's only supposed to happen if you go on a losing streak, but sometimes it will happen if you lose just once. If you try to view their profile it shows as private, but the whole team will all be the same level in between 2-15ish.

There's a lot of posts on reddit about it, I like a few others have quit for a bit because it got so annoying.


I agree, comp has some trash matchmaking, and it feels like you just get teammates that throw just because you picked their main. Sometimes the matches get real good and high stakes then just straight up bad matches back to back. I'm a Strategist main, but I love flexing into to tank, so I kinda like that it's unpopular right now lol, it gives me a break from healing. But it is miserable to tank for a bad team especially if they heals are lacking.
 
If you follow the rivals lore, rogues power set is from her mutant powers stealing power from the ring gambit gives her that he got from the collector. Her skills look badass.

She can still power steal from characters in several ways.

One way is a cool down skill, depending on which character she steals from she will get a new skill to use. If she steals from a duelist it looks like she gains damage boost. Can see in trailer certain characters she steals from. Psylocke will give her invisible, Emma will give her diamond form, iron fist will give her the chi power up, and so on.

Her ultimate will drain characters ultimate percentage and depending on their roles will give her different bonuses. If her ultimate is sapping from healers, she heals herself, dps she damage boosts, vanguard she gets bonus health. Shit is insane. Skills look dope
 
Rogue looks fun asf to play. Haven't had a chance to try her out yet because of all of the instalockers lol, but that's to be expected.

A well played one his trouble to deal with, especially if they have a decent support keeping them up. I think she'll end up having an impressive skill ceiling due to all of the possible power steal combos she could use in some clutch plays.

Yeah ive played rogue a tiny bit just practicing in doom match. Without a healer made it even nore difficult to figure her out, but I can see her definitely having a high skill ceiling. Nevermind her skill steal ability, the rest of her kit is hard to figure out as well. Lots of potential combos
 


Forge would be a dope addition to the lineup of characters. Hes been mentioned in the lore several times and apparently game files that were leaked feature him as a playable character.

We already got season 6 2 heroes announced with Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone but theres a lot of folks teased that could appear in season 7 and beyond. Im hoping Forge and Ghostrider will be our season 7 folks. Ghostrider could be a dope Vanguard and Forge a strategist.

They also already got Kingpin teased in Times Square but I think he will forever be a lore based character in the game. He'd probably be pretty wack as a playable character unless they go a daredevil type route where hes somehow upgraded by a god or something.

The actual story for this game is so fucking dope, its a shame they dont give us any type of cut scenes or anything! Hopefully they will give us some kind of animated series or movie or something down the line.
 
So most Rogue tanks I've come across have been ASS. They usually push way too far up, but decent Rogue players on the enemy team seem to put high pressure on the backline and even the frontline if the team comp is right.

Been playing Rogue a bit in QP and she's pretty good as an off tank but I need some more practice. Gambit so fun, and dealing out that anti heal then doing dps to knockout an enemy strategist or dps is pretty satisfying. Still practicing, but he has quickly become my favorite strategist.

All I know is that TRIPPLE SUPPORT/STRATEGIST has to go. Such an annoying comp to play in or against.
 
Wow they added Rogue and that Black Cat has the right design. Western devs need to fix their art style and stop with the BS with female characters looking manly. Int he outer worlds two female bodies look closer to male bodies and with a helmet on I cannot even tell what gender the characters are until they speak smh. Shit like this is why a lot of people voted for that orange idiot. These devs need to stop trying to do the culture war and just make video games that are exciting and look great artistically. Glad to see the real Lara Croft coming back.

Anyway I love the character designs and presentation of this game, but Ia m not into GaaS so its not something I will play. I wish we had single player games based n these characters with better graphics, stories, game-play and these character models. Its really a shame and a waste. Outside of those positive things this game is mediocre and not worth playing. I do not get how yall do it with these online games.
