OUT NOW Marvel Rivals

Still really early, but im horrible with Angela lol. I been spending a lot of time on other games so I haven't been playing rivals and kind of forgot a lot of controls so its been a rocky comeback so far.

The ps5 players are so fucking trash in this game though and it really kills my motivation. I think what's happening is a lot of kids will be playing. Like, young kids cuz ill hear them on the mic and theyll just be swapping characters and going 4 and 17 in matches and it makes it difficult as hell and not fun. Haven't tried comp since my return but thats where at least somewhat serious players play but on ps5 its not a huge step up. Would love this game on PC if I had one.

Daredevil looks dope as fuck though. Also really dope skins available this season

I thought the same thing too until I played with her for a few days. I'm not bad with her but she's definitely clunky and takes a min to learn how to control. She's also better at disrupting than traditional tanking. Can't see me playing ranked with her unless I put some serious practice in. I got a lot more optimism for Daredevil, though.

Man, daredevil is a fucking BEAST! I dont play him too well yet but im handling him better than any new character thats dropped so far. Already playing with and against other DD players that are carrying the entire team.
 
Next rumored characters are gambit and rogue. Gambit is going to be an obvious duelist (again). Im curious what direction theyre going to take rogue in. This could be a post captain marvel rogue so she could be Vanguard. Or using her powers she could possibly be a strategist or duelist as well.

Game is putting out far too many duelists though. We need more Vanguard and strategists. We got ultron as a strat, but hes basically a duelist just with light healing.

I wanna see juggernaut, colossus, Thanos, apocalypse, drax, sentry, hyperion, Hercules and more for vanguard.

I dont know who they can make for strategists at this point. Also wonder if we will ever get any inhumans in the game. Seems like marvel Disney was really pushing the idea of inhumans for a few years, but now that they got the rights to xmen back, outside of black bolt that team gets absolutely no love.
 
Gambit being a strategist i totally did not see coming. He looks dope as hell to play though, game desperately needed strategists.

Now im wondering what rogue will be. I assumed she would be the strategist out of the two of them. With her ability stealing, she could fit in all 3 roles technically. Hopefully she's Vanguard though. Or would be wild if they gave us 2 strategists this season.

Im just now starting to figure out Angela a bit better but I dont use her much. Daredevil is dope as fuck but I havent quite figured him out yet. Gonna watch some guides for him this week.
 
Glad to see Gambit in, but not sure that's Gambit. Randomly giving him healing powers and telekinetic control over his cards is weird.

In the rivals world they get different variants of the heroes. That's why daredevil actually has powers in this, hes enhanced by some dragon or magical animal like iron fist was. This version of gambit uses a suit of hearts for heals and suit of spades for damage buff. Just a alteration they were able to make with him I think.

I got to play him a little bit today. He's pretty dope for a healer. I dont understand his kit too well yet but when I dont have a baby waking up next to me all the time im going to figure him out. Will probably end up as my favorite healer soon.

Im finally getting good with blade and doing decent with Angela. A good Angela will absolutely change a game in ranked. I hate fighting against her lol. Daredevil I still need to learn.
 
The season 5 update is DOPE though. They buffed so many heros! Magneto having different cool downs for his bubble is so fire. Also his team up with gambit is dope. Groot being unmovable near his iron wall is a game changer. Literally every hero got a tiny buff this season and no nerfs. The new skins are fire too. Not so much the blue thing, but im loving the new namor skin and the Frankenpunisher is fire. Magus Adam warlock as well.
 
And it looks like the last page of season 5 lore has revealed the season 6 heros. Sounding like we will be getting Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone.

Interesting. I didn't know that. I might actually give this game a try when I finish Visions of Mana.
