I finally got a chance to see it today. Had to order it.
The Infinity Gauntlet series was always my prized possession, not just because it was worth a decent amount of money (especially issue #2 for some odd reason), but because the story itself was one of the best I read from Marvel up to that point and many years later. Infinity War ain't that story, shit ain't even based on it loosely...
But thats ok.
This shit was good as fuck. I can deal with the liberties taken just like all the other shit Marvel Studios has done with their source material. The end result has always been damned good so far... Well... Except for First Avenger, that was kinda ass.
Anyways, with all the liberties taken, the one thing I didn't expect to see make it into this flick was Thanos' farmhouse and the smile on his face sitting there. Even though the reason he's there is completely different from the comic, it's still his farmhouse.
EDIT - I forgot to add, during that last scene I had to rewind it a few times... It looks like the scarecrow made from his old armor is in there as well.
