Welcome To aBlackWeb

I don't understand why you all are making a simple concept difficult. Duke said it can't create something from nothing.

Erasure is not the same as creation. Bringing darkness to the universe equates to the erasure of light not the creation of darkness.
Turning a bullet into a bubble is to change the reality of that bullet--ie. REPLACE a bullet with a bubble. Not to create a bubble from nothing. If you're to create these resources, to provide for the entirety of the universe from what is already a finite well of supplies, then that DOES NOT/WOULD NOT solve your problem.

Thus Thanos' rationale.

If you want to limit the gauntlet to not being able to create resources from nothing, what's stopping waste from being transformed back into resources?

Thanos's rationale doesn't really hold up to scrutiny when he has the power to create many other solutions besides killing half the universe.

I liked his motivation from a movie standpoint though. I was expecting the "impress Death" motive. I don't watch these movies to nitpick them all out of control. Takes the fun out of it.

Hitler's rationale didn't hold up to scrutiny either. Attempting to allocate the sense in the rationale of a mad man/titan isn't what we're trying to do here. I'm attempting to analyze the minutia of the MCU's Infinity Gauntlet since people seem to want to play nitpick with it while having easily assailable holes in their own logic.

As far as your first question... finite resources = finite waste. Which will eventually get surpassed by an ever-growing population. That will always be the case because hypothetically speaking population growth isn't finite.

A 43-year-old man died during a cinema screening of Marvel's latest blockbuster, Avengers: Infinity War, on Tuesday.

According to The Times of India (via CinemaBlend), officials didn't discover the body of Peddapasupula Baasha right away as they assumed he was waiting for the post-credits scene (a Marvel staple).

Lol Zoe Saldana did an interview talking about her exit and if she will return for avengers 4 or not. of course, she was trying to tip toe around the question, but months ago she did an interview on the red carpet saying the guardians had finished their scenes for Infinity War and are going back in a couple weeks to film Avengers 4. I hate hollywood sometimes.

Well she did tip toe around the question of whether or not she'd pop up in Avengers 4, but I think she was being sincere about not knowing how much farther Gamora would be going in the MCU. Remember even for IW, the cast didn't know what was happening until after the movie was done. They only got their script and they performed fake scenes among the real scenes. I'm sure they are doing something similar for Avengers 4.

Thing with Gamora is that she wasnt killed by the Infinity Gauntlet. So I can see them getting the gauntlet from Thanos and redoing everything that was done by the gauntlet and realizing that Gamora isnt back.

Just a possibility.

The twist could be that shes in Soul World inside the soul stone. Remember that Adam Warlock was hinted at at the end of GOTG 2. They can keep that Warlock/Soul World connection and GOTG 3 could be them fighting or befriending Warlock and going into Soul World to bring back Gamora.
