Alan Kurdi was a little Kurdish boy from Syria who was 4 years old. His family was running away from the fighting caused by ISIS and got on a boat that was extremely over capacity. The boat sank and his body washed up on shore in Turkey.

The picture was everywhere. Yall might remember it.

Yeah...that might be one of my favorite songs on the album

My frustration with the whole Lasers/Atlantic issue was the fact that Lupe was coming off of 2 gold albums in a row at the tail end of ringtone rap, some mildly successful singles, and superstar which was a platinum single. why force him to make more mainstream sounding music when he's already having some success doing his own thing? it's not like he was flopping on those first 2 albums.

Thirty Tigers is a Nashville-based entertainment company that offers music marketing, distribution, and management services to independent artists.

Thirty Tigers is not a record label, but releases around 45 albums per year for artists who retain ownership and control of their music and career choices.

so the only label he's technically on now is 1st & 15th

@Goldie @AP21 y'all should make a bet with Lupe and Lil Wayne since they both dropping albums.

If Wayne can drop a better album
AND sells more than DROGAS WAVE then AP has to give Goldie all of his ABW dollars plus allow Goldie to change AP's Avi and screen name. If C5 however doesn't sell more and isn't a better album then Goldie has to give up all his cash plus allow AP to edit his name and Avi.

What y'all say ?
AP automatically wins if C5 ain't released by the end of October

I had to ready myself after the initial run through. After sitting down with the spliff. I like it.

I see what he did with the concept but I did feel uplifted listening to the album. I felt not only culturally positive but positive in general. This creativity is what Kanye has lost.

Right now Kingdom is my fav but I agree with others that there are clear standout tracks. The production on Cripple was beautiful reminded me of the Jazz inspired beats Guru used to spit on when I was a kid.

Never really been a fan but I always resepected dude.
