I don't think i ever spoke on this topic/this thread and I damn sure ain't bout to watch this doc to tell me what I already know about this nasty ass nigga...

but the people defending him...it's funny how niggas be using the "why dont they go after the white pervs/the system tearing a black man down" defense, then in the same breath talk about some "well he was never convicted".......is it fuck the system or are we using the system's barometer to decide a nigga that married a 15 yr old and has been confirmed to sleep girls under 18 on more than 2 other occasions (before more than 2 is not an accident) is fucking gross and need to gtfoh? From the day I heard about these allegations damn near 2 decades ago, I dont think I've heard anyone that supports him say they support him on the basis of innocence...like these ppl know he was fuckin on children and coming up with every other excuse to rationalize why they not gon stop fuckin with him.

Like just say thoia thoing means too much to your library to let go and keep it tf movin

and this is why we are here.
we can not determine how abuse affected someone.
while i agree...we need to get these girls taken care of.......just focusing on the girl wont stop other abusers.


seems to me a few of these chicks could leave when they wanted to but choose not to.

the chick in the hotel could have left.
the young girl that was at his trial, did leave,
the old chick stayed on his request.

but lets keep it 100....we talking about brainwashing....i didnt know that was against the law.
but if we gonna be mad at brainwashing.....alot of people right now in relationships and marriages are being or doing the brainwashing.
ever had a chick not give you ass cause she mad at some shit.....most dudes wont do the shit again to keep the ass access.

and who gonna do a quick check on they kid and bounce? even if they are an adult.

As long as you know the main thing is that his actions are deplorable. I get it you want to stop things at the root but use that vigor for other cases. Human trafficking of black kids all over. If niggas see this case and not trying to be against human trafficking and talking about what white folks do then we really are easily distracted.

Being abused is not an excuse to abuse. The abuse of R. Kelly needs to be separated from his abuse of these girls. If you want to talk about his abuse and abusers that's fair, but not applicable to his abuse of these girls.

You keep focusing on the legal aspect of things, but I'm cancelling him for both legal AND moral reasons. And brainwashing is against the law when the means for brainwashing comes via physical and emotional abuse. And when it starts when the girls are underage.

These girls didn't agree to be abused and brainwashed. That shit is a progression. Nobody asks to have food withheld from them for days, have to piss and shit in buckets, and basically be in solitary confinement.

To answer your question, yes to both. He is still fucking with underage chicks, then as soon as they turn 18 he basically kidnaps them under the guise that it's their decision. He brainwashes them as a minor so by time they become legal they say they cool when they're not.

Didn't you say you didn't watch the doc? If not, go watch it so you can see how different his brainwashing is than a woman withholding ass from her man. Watch how he uses the law to keep these girls from their parents. Watch these parents heartbreak when trying to get their daughters back after they have had zero contact in years.

niggas aint really about justice,..they about being apart of something bigger than them. but they are being told what that is.
otherwise.....this energy and words would be used for anyone hurting kids.

i just watched it yesterday.....still feel the same way i do.
i think these chicks got in over their heads.
i think they wanted to use him and got used with no reward...
but that does take away from him or put more onto them......
my reason for saying him being abused...is because....lets say right now...everyone is focused on this case.
just this case. their are kids within a few blocks radius of us all being abused right now. but too much is focused here....and even on lil girls(which it should) but the lil boys get overlooked and forgotten. and even if they speak up.....they are often ridiculed or told they should be happy if it was a woman.
we cant help one gender and forget the other only to have to come back to help another generation of the same gender as before.

i am kinda glad this is happening because it shows to me why it keeps happening.
lets not act like this is not celebrated by some women,.
case in point. the movie 50shades of grey.
dude was molested. and thats where he learned all that crazy shit. but that turned women on and broke up relationships because chicks was comparing grey to their real life man.

but skipping over he was molested. was the book boycotted or told not to focus on that because its a love story?
so again,....the help a man or boy needs is overlooked and the trauma he faced is put into something else that women later try to benefit from.

does that make sense to you? yes, i know its a book...but its the principal behind the book.

I think is where we disagree. I don't think they were trying to use him. They may have wanted him to help them get on, but that's a mutually beneficial financial transaction and business relationship. He's the monster that turned it into a physical, emotional, and sexual abuse thing.

The grown ass women that he abused may have some responsibility in allowing it to happen, but none in the abuse he heaped upon them. That's all him and that should be the focus here.

As for the underage girls he took advantage of, they have absolutely no responsibility in any of this. And I'd hope you wouldn't think they should.

So yes, we do need to place focus on the sexual abuse of y0ung people in general, but that discussion is not part of this discussion regarding R. Kelly's abuse of these women.
