Why was sexual abuse looked at as white people shit is the question.
Yet, I am sure we all knew someone, male or female who was abused and never spoke on it.
Why is that?

Why was it not addressed in the black community?
This whole thing is bigger than rkelly.

It seems if you go beyond rkelly peoples heads begin to hurt.
It was often asked said that black people can do two things at once....but this thread had proved that alot of people can't.
I often invited people to come with me to listen to kids truths. A lot of grown adults can't stay to listen after the second or third child. But this is their truth. You can't listen, but try living it with no control. Try having a mother believe the bf over the daughter.

A lot of adults fail kids because of their own need for love and/or support. Others attack because they was attacked.

So if we want to throw Kelly to the gators.....we gotta throw whole groups too. Because he was supported and enabled.

So the question to y'all is....are you really trying to help or just throw rocks cuz you have time?

I agree with all of this, however, I still don't think this is a witch Hunt for black men

Had this documentary been about the blatant discrepancies when it comes to prison sentencing of black men vs white men, that's an attack on black men

If someone was saying black men are 10x more likely to leave their children... That's an attack on black men

If someone was saying black men are 10x more likely to physically abuse their partners, that's an attack on black men

This shit is about one fucking black man who did terrible shit to Young black women. There is no broad brush being used at all.

Didn't Corey Haim do an interview where he discussed his molestation? So because his wasn't a docuseries, that lessens the impact of the story he was trying to tell?

Pedophilia is wrong on all levels, BUT, this conversation, at least from my pov has tried to highlight how it continues to happen in the black community and how people have turned a blind eye to the shit.

We want to always say protect our black sons when it comes to their interactions with the police but as soon as some people say protect our daughters from pedophiles, then it's "why they waited so long" ,"why didn't she say something when it happened", "this is an attack on black men". I just don't get it

But as was stated here we said the adults failed those kids and should be punished too. But r kelly had the money and power to cover it up.

Kelly didn't kidnap none of these girls, didn't drug none of them. They was all brought to him. Every adult involved should have the gun put to them, not just Kelly.
