Free school lunch was trash so everyone got chicken and chips after school. There's always as least ne nasty oily chicken and chip shop near every school (usually 3 or 4). £1 got you one piece and fries or 3 wings and fries and a Pepsi.

Everyone in my school got a free lunch card. It was automatic, didnt even have to sign up. Never ate it though.

They just assumed everyone in the district was and had us all signed up. Now that I think about it, im sure that was illegal and they were just doing it to get more tax dollars.

This was all high school for me. I went to a private Muslim school most of my elementary and middle school We brought our lunch there.
